chomp! | modern kids photographer, san francisco
If you’ve been following me on twitter, you’ll remember that I was super excited to be photographing the Great-granddaughter of the Gerber baby. I was so thrilled to finally meet little Cora Margarita on Labor Day. Cora and her family were so much fun during our walk on top of Bernal Hill and so incredibly helpful.
Grandma took a few photos of me in action with the help of at least four assistants (1. baby talker/mom 2. baby spotter/dad 3. first assistant with light reflector/grandpa 4. baby’s personal assistant/uncle). I will hopefully be sharing the full post soon including some shots of us in action.
For now, enjoy a little series of Cora and her dad that I’m titling, “Chomp!”. Dad was actually in some pain after this shot. I’m surprised she didn’t draw any blood. So funny!

5 month old baby photos
I met Sonoma and her family at their home in Denver. I encourage my clients to create images that are unique to their family through clothing, items or locations. Since Sonoma’s dad plays rugby they started out in matching jerseys. We then went into the nursery to get some adorable photos of Sonoma and her parents.

This next image amazed me because of that look on Sonoma’s face. That look she is giving mom is just the classic ‘oh, mom’ look. This is a look I ordinarily see on an 8 year old’s face not a 5 month old.

Watch the slideshow for more images from Sonoma’s family photos. I had so much fun working with Sonoma and her parents. She had this natural ability to work the camera – I see modeling in her future.
If you are interested in creating unique photos of your new baby look at my Denver Family Photography portfolio and contact me to schedule your session.

Welcome to the World Chloie!
Welcome to the world Chloie! A few months ago we did Frank and Joanna's Anticipation session and we all couldn't wait to find out if it was going to be a boy or girl. I love happy surprises! On that note, I'm happy to announce little Chloie's arrival! Isn't she adorable?!?! Here are just a few of my favorites! :)

Denver Family Photos
Family portraits are fun! At least they are when you schedule Jennifer Schumacher Photography. Jen and Matt were the lucky winners of the classic family portrait session I donated to their school auction. We spent an afternoon in Golden just having fun. This is only a preview until I get all of the images ready. I felt these few images are a great sample of how fun and goofy this family photo session was. Can’t wait to show you more…. This is Kennah -
And this is Ethan…
No stiff, perfectly angled heads here only real smiles and real relationships. Stay tuned for more.
